FixItDial (the “Site”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is owned and operated by Idongesit Iniama. We connect homeowners in the United States with verified, licensed 24/7 home-repair professionals via a click-to-call directory. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors to fixitdial.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect only the information needed to run the directory and improve the experience.

• Information you provide directly — when you submit a customer review, you give us your name (or initials), city, US state, rating and review text. Email is optional and never displayed publicly.
• Automatically collected information — when you visit the Site we log a non-identifying page-view record containing: the page you visited, your referring page, an anonymised IP-hash (never your raw IP), your browser’s user-agent string, your viewport size, and a randomly generated session id. We do not link this data to your identity.
• Approximate location — we use a third-party IP geolocation service (ip-api.com) to detect your city or state so we can personalize the “pros near you” suggestions. Lookups are cached on our servers and never tied to a personal profile.
• Cookies & local storage — we use a small number of first-party cookies and browser sessionStorage entries to remember UI state (for example, whether you have already dismissed the social-proof toast on an offer page). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

• To display verified customer reviews on the directory.
• To detect your approximate location and show the most relevant local pros.
• To analyse aggregated traffic patterns and improve site speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
• To detect abuse, spam reviews and fraudulent activity.
• To respond to support requests you send us directly.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.

When you tap a phone number on FixItDial, your device opens its native phone app and dials the listed pro directly. The call connects you to the third-party home-repair provider; FixItDial does not record, transcribe or intercept the call. Anything you share with the pro during that call is governed by their privacy practices, not ours. We may receive an attribution notification from the provider’s network confirming that a call was placed, but no personally identifying call content reaches FixItDial.

• ip-api.com — free IP geolocation lookups.
• Google Maps Embed — renders the embedded map on city / location pages. Google’s privacy practices apply to those embeds.
• Google PageSpeed Insights — on-demand site-health scans run by the site administrator only; no visitor data is shared.
• IndexNow (Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam) — we notify these search engines when public URLs change. No personal data is sent.
• MongoDB hosting & cloud infrastructure — used to store directory listings, reviews and aggregated analytics. Data is encrypted in transit.

Aggregated page-view records are automatically deleted after 90 days via a database TTL index. Customer reviews are retained for as long as the listing they reference remains on the Site, unless you ask us to remove them. Administrative audit logs are retained for up to 12 months.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

• Access — ask what data we hold about you.
• Deletion — ask us to delete a review you submitted or any data tied to your identity.
• Correction — request a correction of inaccurate data.
• Opt-out of sale — we do not sell personal information, so this right does not apply, but California residents may still submit a “Do Not Sell” request as a formality.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in Section 11. We respond within 30 days.

FixItDial is intended for adults arranging home-repair services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS everywhere, bcrypt password hashing for administrator accounts, server-side input validation, and least-privilege database access. No internet service is 100% secure, but we work to ensure your information is handled responsibly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days.
